Nodular thyroid disease is frequently observed in patients with acromegaly. The aim of this study is to evaluate thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer frequency in acromegalic patients. Lesions causing primary hyperparathyroidism (PHP) can be summarised as solitary adenoma (80–85%), multiglandular hyperplasia (15%), parathyroid carcinoma (1%).
